Itinerary

Upon Arrival you will be warmly welcomed by our team and transferred to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax, recover from your journey, and explore the vibrant streets of Kathmandu. In the evening, a briefing session will be held to discuss the expedition itinerary and preparation details.

Spend the day in Kathmandu finalizing preparations for the expedition. This includes obtaining climbing permits, checking and organizing gear, and ensuring all equipment meets safety standards. Attend a detailed expedition briefing covering the route, safety protocols, and acclimatization strategies. Use any spare time to explore the cultural landmarks of Kathmandu, such as Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) or Pashupatinath Temple, while mentally preparing for the adventure ahead.

Begin the day with a scenic 35-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860 m), offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival at Lukla, meet the trekking crew and start the trek to Phakding (2,610 m / 8,563 ft). The 3–4 hour trek follows the Dudh Koshi River, passing through lush landscapes, small villages, and suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. Overnight stay at a teahouse in Phakding, where you can rest and prepare for the next day's journey.

The trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m / 11,286 ft) takes around 6–7 hours and is a significant part of the journey as you enter Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges, including the iconic Hillary Bridge, and passes through pine forests and small Sherpa villages. A steep ascent toward Namche tests your endurance, but the stunning views of Everest, Lhotse, and Kusum Kanguru are rewarding. Namche Bazaar, the vibrant Sherpa hub, offers cozy teahouses, shops, and a chance to acclimatize.

Today is dedicated to acclimatization to prepare for higher altitudes. Explore Namche Bazaar, the cultural and commercial center of the Khumbu region. Take a short hike to Everest View Hotel (3,880 m) for panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. Visit the Sherpa Museum to learn about local culture and mountaineering history, or explore nearby villages like Khumjung and Kunde. This active rest day helps your body adjust to the altitude while providing an opportunity to experience Sherpa hospitality and stunning Himalayan scenery.

The trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche takes around 5–6 hours. Begin with a descent through lush forests, crossing the Dudh Koshi River and heading towards the village of Phunki Tenga. After crossing the river, a steep ascent leads you through alpine meadows to Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery. The monastery offers stunning views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. This is also a great spot for observing local Buddhist ceremonies. Overnight at a teahouse in Tengboche.

Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche, which takes around 5–6 hours. The trail descends through lush forests and crosses the Imja Khola River before climbing to the village of Dingboche. Along the way, you’ll get close-up views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Island Peak. Dingboche, located in the Imja Valley, offers a great vantage point for observing the surrounding peaks. It is also an ideal location for acclimatization before heading higher into the Himalayas. Stay overnight in Dingboche.

Spend the day in Dingboche for acclimatization. Take a short hike to Nangkartshang Peak (5,100 m) for stunning views of Lhotse, Makalu, Ama Dablam, and Cholatse. This will help your body adjust to the higher altitude while allowing you to enjoy breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding peaks. You can also explore the village, interact with local Sherpas, and rest in preparation for the more challenging days ahead.

The trek from Dingboche to Lobuche takes about 5–6 hours. The route ascends gradually, passing through Duglha, where a memorial site honors climbers who lost their lives on Everest. The trail then climbs to Lobuche, offering incredible views of Pumori and Nuptse. Lobuche is a popular resting point before the final push to Everest Base Camp. The night is spent in a teahouse, allowing for further acclimatization.

The trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep takes about 3–4 hours. The trail gradually ascends through the rocky moraine and past the Khumbu Glacier. Along the way, you will get spectacular views of surrounding peaks, including Pumori, Nuptse, and Lhotse. Once you reach Gorak Shep, it serves as the last stop before heading to Everest Base Camp. This area is known for its stunning views and serves as an important acclimatization point. Stay overnight at a teahouse in Gorak Shep.

Start early in the morning for a challenging but rewarding hike to Kala Patthar. The trek takes about 2–3 hours, and from the summit, you’ll enjoy panoramic 360° views of Everest and surrounding peaks, including the south face of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Taboche, Cholatse, Lobuche East, and Pumori. The sunrise over these towering giants makes this a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m / 17,598 ft) After soaking in the views at Kala Patthar, descend back to Gorak Shep and continue on the final leg of the journey to Everest Base Camp. The trek takes about 1–2 hours. At Base Camp, you will stand in the shadow of the Khumbu Icefall, witnessing the start of expeditions for Everest summits. It's a truly humbling experience to be at the foot of the world’s highest peak.

From Everest Base Camp, climbers begin their ascent by first moving to Camp I, located at 6,065 meters, crossing the Khumbu Icefall, a challenging section of shifting ice and crevasses. After reaching Camp I, climbers continue to Camp II (6,400 meters) in the Western Cwm, a relatively flatter but high-altitude area. From there, they ascend to Camp III (7,470 meters) on the Lhotse Face, which is a steep, ice-covered slope requiring technical climbing skills. The next stop is Camp IV (7,920 meters) at the South Col, where climbers rest and prepare for the final summit push. The summit bid typically takes 4–6 days, with climbers navigating the Hillary Step, a challenging rock section, before reaching the summit of Mount Everest at 8,848.86 meters. After summiting, climbers descend back through the camps, finally returning to Base Camp for rest and recovery.

On Day 57, climbers begin by cleaning and packing up Everest Base Camp, ensuring all equipment, waste, and debris are removed and properly disposed of to leave the area pristine. After completing the cleanup, the team starts the descent. The trek takes them through Lobuche, continuing down the valley to Pheriche. The descent is easier than the ascent but requires caution. Upon reaching Pheriche, climbers can rest and acclimatize to the lower altitude, reflecting on the successful summit and enjoying the quiet environment of the village.

On Day 58, climbers trek from Pheriche (4,371 m / 14,340 ft) to Tengboche (3,860 m / 12,664 ft), a 5–6 hour journey through picturesque forests of rhododendron and pine. The trail offers stunning views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Everest. Upon arrival in Tengboche, climbers can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the spiritual atmosphere of Tengboche Monastery.

On Day 59, climbers trek from Tengboche (3,860 m / 12,664 ft) to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m / 11,286 ft), a 5–6 hour journey. The route takes trekkers through lush forests of pine and rhododendron, with views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Everest in the distance. After descending to Phunki Tenga, the trail begins to ascend sharply to Namche Bazaar, the bustling Sherpa town and a key hub for trekkers in the Khumbu region. Climbers can rest and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Namche Bazaar, a good place to acclimatize before continuing further down the valley.

On Day 60, climbers trek from Namche Bazaar (3,440 m / 11,286 ft) to Lukla (2,860 m / 9,186 ft), a journey that takes approximately 6–7 hours. The trail descends through the scenic Dudh Koshi River valley, passing through small Sherpa villages and lush forests. The route is relatively easier compared to earlier sections, but still requires caution due to the downhill terrain.

The flight offers a breathtaking aerial view of the Himalayas as it traverses over the mountains and valleys. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, climbers can rest and unwind after their challenging expedition, reflecting on the incredible achievement of reaching the summit of Mount Everest. The journey ends with the completion of a memorable and successful adventure in the world's highest mountains.

In the evening, a Nepalese cultural program is arranged, offering a glimpse into the rich traditions of the country through dance, music, and local performances. The day concludes with a farewell dinner, where climbers can reflect on their journey, share stories, and enjoy delicious traditional Nepalese cuisine, marking the end of their Everest adventure.

On the final day, climbers are transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu for their flight back home. After saying their goodbyes and reflecting on the incredible journey, climbers depart Nepal, carrying with them memories of their Everest expedition and the friendships forged along the way. The departure marks the end of an unforgettable adventure in the Himalayas.
